TYPE MOON x Dollfie Dream Saber’s Akihabara Showroom Visit!

It seems that Red Saber enjoyed trying on a lot  of outfits and wigs at Akihabara, too! Today, let’s look at her versatility!

TYPE MOON x Dollfie Dream Alter-san’s Yokohama Showroom Visit!

How to Use the SD Head Stringing Tool

Hi, everyone!

Ever tried to change your SD’s eyes while their head was still attached, and got tired of that S-hook sticking up in your way? Ever had an outfit that needed to be pulled on over your SD’s head, and you had to hold your breath while ever-so-gently easing it over the makeup? Better yet, ever had an outfit that unexpectedly required that your SD’s head be removed in order to put it on, but you didn’t know how, so your beautiful new outfit languished unworn?

The answer to all of these problems and more: the stringing tool for head parts, AKA the head stringing tool! (General SD version, Yo-SD version)

This little tool makes removing and attaching SD heads amazingly easy, and is commonly considered a staple tool for SD owners — use it once, and you’ll never know how you lived without it!

A couple of tips before we get started:

  1. Although it’s colloquially referred to as “SD size,” the general Super Dollfie head stringing tool is meant to be used for all Super Dollfie sizes other than Yo-SD. This tool should be used for MSD girls and boys, SDC girls and boys, SD girls and boys, SD13 girls and boys, SDGr girls and boys, SD16 girls and boys, and SD17 boys.
  2. The Yo-SD head stringing tool should be used only for Yo-SDs. Please do not use the Yo-SD tool on any other size of Super Dollfie; as the hook is both thinner and smaller than its counterpart, using it on a size that it is not meant for may possibly result in damage to the tool and injury to the user.

OK, ready to learn how to behead your SD? Follow below for a step-by-step photo tutorial! (Please note that the tutorial utilizes an SD in the photos, but use of the head stringing tool on the MSD, SDC, SD13, SDGr, SD16, and SD17 sizes works exactly the same way. The Yo-SD tool is also utilized in an identical manner, except, of course, it is limited only to Yo-SDs.)

TYPE-MOON x Dollfie Dream – Which Saber is she~!?

Look at this picture carefully! Which Saber is she?
Saber1She is DD Saber (Fate/EXTRA Ver.) in the original Saber default outfit and wig! This is kind of a tricky question, right? Because Red Saber and the original Saber both have the same face mold. However, the make-up is quite different. Red Saber is painted with more details.

Saber2Then, can you tell which pair of eyes Red Saber is wearing in today’s picture? Right! These are the Takeuchi Sensei Version! Look at the gorgeous blending of green and blue!

Saber3 The original Saber’s default outfit was so complicated and heavy! Red Saber’s armor is less complicated than this. Her armor is only on her legs and feet as you can see in the item’s picture.

Saber4Today’s last picture is from the Akihabara Showroom when the Red Saber prototype visited there! The sword is huuuuuuuuuge!
