Here we go again — this time I’ll be covering Dolly*Dolly Volume 10! This is the last of our current inventory of Dolly*Dolly back issues, so this will be my final Dolly*Dolly review, at least until we receive more stock — I hope you’ve enjoyed reading these reviews as much as I’ve enjoyed writing them!
Dolly*Dolly Volume 10!
This is an extra-thick issue of Dolly*Dolly with lots of content — the main feature is on the doll company Takara Tomy, maker of famous doll lines such as Takara Jenny, Licca-chan, and Osyalle Style Doll. The issue opens with an extensive pictorial timeline of the history of the company — follow Takara Tomy from the 1950s to the 2000s, and watch how Jenny and Licca-chan evolve over the years! There are also large features on Tiny Betsy McCall and Blythe, both with lots of photos of customized dolls — the Tiny Betsy McCall feature even includes step by step photo tutorials on how to modify Tiny Betsy McCall’s makeup, and how to make a kimono for her using handkerchiefs!

Mio is not a girl we see often as we never released her here at VOLKS USA.
She also seems to be showing off near San Francisco’s well-known landmark and having a nice time at the beach while at it!

We just received the newest issue of VOLKS News here at VOLKS USA, VOLKS News Volume 44!
As usual, this issue is packed with full color, glossy pictures of our most recently released SDs, DDs, upcoming outfits, and model kits, as well as interesting photos of Japan-only items like figures and more!!
But what about special items?
The special item this time is another color of HG Glass Eyes which was formerly only released with Limited Edition dolls, the Cadet Blue with White Lines!
Our commonly available Cadet Blue eyes have black line detailing. It’s interesting to see the difference something so small makes. The white line detailing of these limited eyes makes them appear overall lighter and brighter than their standard counterparts.
These eyes are only available in 16mm and 18mm this time.
