Just in Time for Spring! – ReStocks!

Thursday, March 31st, 2011

I think spring skipped out on us and we got summer today instead. B|

It’s a little later than usual, but we’ve finally managed to get everything all sorted and so here we are! Nothing huge this time around, just a lot of little things restocked, but you never know- maybe it’s something you’ve been waiting for!

Eyelashes and some eye types are first up- several acrylic eyes for 22/27cm Dollfies and Metallic and Animetic eyes for SD and DD. Thinking of giving your doll a makeover? Swing by the Painting section for ZM brand acrylics as well as pastels. Also, more Make Pens! …don’t let the picture fool you, the design’s been updated but I haven’t fixed the picture yet- oops.

Been waiting for some SD stands? They always seem to go so quick! Good news, we have more of Wood Stand types A and C! How about other items for your SD? Stringing Tools for every size are back in stock, as well as S-Hook Sets for SD and MSD. Just take a look at our Assembling Section.

So far we’re still getting Dollfies in now and then. This time we got a few NEO-EBs as well as a small variety of Excellent Base Bodies. If you’re really looking to customize your 22/27cm Dollfies then Rooting Hair is the way to go!

Perhaps you might also be interested to know that we’ve got some more outfits for your SDs in. Sometimes we’re fortunate enough to receive more items from previous releases. Poke around, you can never be too sure what you’ll find! -of course, there might be a delay for some of them because we’ll have to wait for the website update. Well, it’s something to keep in mind?

What else… Oh! Books! Dollfie Dream Compilation, Komame’s Lil Custom Lessons for Super Dollfie Vol. 1, and Dress Making Book for SD Vol. 3 are all available. There are probably a few other things but there’s only so much space to gab.

     Have at it, folks! <3

Hello again!

So many Customer Gallery entries recently!

It seems like this feature is becoming more and more well known. Please send us photos of your Volks dolls to share as well!

Today’s entry comes from customer K.L. who sent us quite a few photos of their family. They have DDs and SDs and this isn’t even all! K.L. has promised to share more with us later, too!

Since there’s so many, I’ll start with my favorite.

Customer Gallery~D.Y. and S.G.’s Little Ones!

Tuesday, March 29th, 2011

Hello again!

Mother and daughter pair D.Y. and S.G. brought in two of their little ones to share with us last weekend! We have a couple of photos below and we think that you will enjoy them!

dandysakura001

“Allen” belongs to D.Y. and is a repainted “White Rabbit-Sweet Dream Version” while “Lily” lives with S.G. and is a “Yo-SDG Lily!” They both look so adorable don’t they? I love Lily’s coordinated purple outfit.

A closeup shot of them lets you see Allen’s little blushed fingers and Lily’s lovely kimono.

I hope you enjoyed seeing them as we did. Please bring them in to see us again, ladies!

Now available: SWS Ta 152 Concept Note!

Monday, March 28th, 2011

Hi, everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend — I know that we here in southern California enjoyed a welcome break from the recent rain. Our March shipment from Japan arrived this past week, bringing with it something I know many of our SWS fans have been waiting for: the SWS Ta 152 Concept Note! Those of you who pre-ordered should have already gotten a shipping notice, so if you haven’t already received the book, please look forward to the arrival of your Concept Note — if you have already received it, please feel free to email us and let us know what you thought!

The Zoukei-mura Concept Note for SWS No. 2 "Focke-Wulf Ta 152 H-1"!

The Zoukei-mura Concept Note for SWS No. 2 "Focke-Wulf Ta 152 H-1"!

Much like the Shinden Concept Note, with the exception of four pages (out of a total 124 pages) at the very back, all of the Japanese text in the book is accompanied by English translations. It’s a veritable treasure trove of Ta 152 historical information, pictures of the actual aircraft at the Smithsonian, modeling tips and tricks (There are detailed build diaries from all five of our contributing guest modelers!), and finished Ta 152 photos.

Still on the fence? Have one last incentive: while supplies last, every copy of the Ta 152 Concept Note will come with a treasure for any Focke-Wulf aficionado: a free bonus photo set of the Smithsonian Ta 152! A gift from Zoukei-mura, each photo set contains three full-color prints of one of four different aspects of the plane: the cockpit, the engine, the fuselage, or the main wings! These photo sets are limited in quantity, and when they’re gone, they’re gone forever, so please don’t hesitate to order your copy of the Ta 152 Concept Note! (Please note that photo sets will be random, and that Volks USA cannot accept any requests for a particular set. Thank you for your understanding.)

Happy reading, everyone — I wholeheartedly believe that anyone who orders the Ta 152 Concept Note will be quite happy with it!
