We’re starting the New Year with a new Showcase feature!
As I mentioned in my last HG Glass Eye Showcase our next Showcase is wigs!
We will be covering nearly every size in these Showcases. SD Cute, MSD, SD, and DD wigs will all be covered and modeled for you by our SDs!
We’ll be trying our best to convey the true color and style of these wigs, along with maybe giving you a couple of tips for styling and wig care!
I hope you’re ready! The first wig we will be Showcasing is one of our newest wigs, the W-133/ Long Ringlet Curls!
This wig is a super cute, ultra-feminine style with long curled pigtails and soft bangs. Our newest SD13 Girl, Rinon, is helping us by modeling this wig today!

Smokey Beige is one of two new colors to our lineup. It has a mix of silver hairs blended in with the cream, cooling the warmth of the color and making it more neutral. We are excited to have it available in this style and in others!
Don’t you think it looks nice on Rinon?
With very structured styles like this you can’t brush them, but often they are a little messy when they come out of the box. You can gently train the hairs back into place with your fingers if this is the case, twirling and smoothing them back to where they once were.
You can see that the back of the W-133-smokey beige is parted in the middle cleanly to go up to the long, spiral curls. What you can’t see here is that the hairs are rooted into a vinyl pate to give a really realistic look to the parting of her hair!
The next color is also a new color, Peach Cream!
This color is so difficult to show accurately in pictures. It’s a soft blend of several different colors, light orange, soft pink, and cream. Even though it is a fantasy color the overall look is very natural with all of the colors blended together. It’s a gorgeous color and a great addition to our lineup!
Choco Purple is also one of our newer, more unusual colors. It was featured in several limited wigs before being released as a general color in our previous wig revamp last year. It has since become of our most popular colors and it looks great in this wig as it does any other!
This kind of wig is perfect for sweet young girls, or lolita styles.
I’m using the Natural Gold, a classic color, here to demonstrate an easy way to add a personal touch to a wig, or cover a problem area. The bands holding her pigtails are okay, but could use improvement, so I quickly added a piece of ribbon in a coordinating color to her outfit, and tied it in a little bow!
Little touches like this are easy and give a finished look to your dolls wig.
Ivory is also one of our classic colors. Rinon looks great as the stereotypical blonde-haired, blue-eyed sweet girl doesn’t she? The lighter colors really suit her soft, natural makeup.
She looks very doll-like here, but sometimes that’s the look that you want. During those times a wig like this really works well!
I think this wig might really work for more casual looks too, with a cute day dress and sandals, or with a girly shirt and jeans!
