These designs were first used for a “Tales of Genji” display at Tenshi-no-Sato and are based on traditional Japanese hair styles! At last this unique look is available for your SDs too!
A Type “Taregami” $64.00
For a long period of time in ancient Japan,” Taregami” was the basic hair style. Rich, straight, long black hair was the ultimate symbol of beauty. The “Taregami” wig is the longest wig which we have ever offered, ending at about 83cm(33 inches)!
B Type “Binsogi Taregami” $64.00
When a young girl reached certain ages her father or older brother would perform the “Binsogi” ceremony, cutting shorter locks into her long hair. The shorter pieces of the “Binsogi” swing with her every movement, a gorgeous counterpoint.
One of the most romantic scenes in “Tales of Genji” is when Genji tells his young fiancée, Wakamurasaki, that he will perform this ceremony for her himself.
