Oh! Have you ever heard about “Shichi Go San (Seven five three)”? It’s a Japanese custom celebrating the healthy and happy lives of our children. We take children to the shrine when they are 3 years old, 5 years old, and 7 years old on November 15 for this ceremony. Also, some places skip boys who are 3 and 5 years old and some places include girls who are 13 years old.
The Vintage Fabric Kimono and Hihu Vest Set from Hoppecodo is exactly the kind of outfit the children wear for this ceremony and November is coming fast, so it reminds me of this custom.
When I was 3 years old, the Kimono and Hihu were so heavy I couldn’t stand on my own… I hope your Yo-SDs are OK!
