There sometimes comes a day when you want a completely new look for your SD. And for one of our older showroom models, SD13B Link, that day has come. After four years of display, our Link’s make-up was becoming a bit tiresome. So, Sayuri decided to re-paint Link and give him a whole new look! What do you think?

Before Sayuri could begin on Link’s new look, she needed to remove his default make-up first.
For this step, she used the following:
By pouring a little of the Mr. Color Thinner onto a piece of Pikatto Sponge, Sayuri was able to wipe away Link’s default make-up easily. And for the smaller areas that were hard to clean with the sponge, such as the lip and eye creases, Sayuri used a paint brush with some thinner on it (using a Mr. Cotton Swab with thinner on it will also do the trick!):
Sayuri successfully removed half of Link’s old make-up to show you the difference between the two.
Once Sayuri removed the other side of Link’s make-up, she then sprayed his face with a layer of the ZM Finishing Powder Spray which gave him a more clean and matte look:
Next, Sayuri worked her magic and transformed Link into a new SD, let’s take a look at the transformation:
After Sayuri was done with Link’s make-up, she added eyelashes. She used the WT7-Cross Black lashes which are a great, realistic style for both boys and girls:
After cutting the eyelashes to the appropriate lengths and attaching them, Sayuri used the left over lashes to insert them at the ends on Link’s eyes, giving them a more defined and dramatic look:
After attaching the eyelashes, Sayuri assembeled the final pieces to complete Link’s new look, and have him looking good for the camera:
Overall, Sayuri wanted Link to have a heavy and more dramatic look that was completely opposite from his default, and she succeeded! Link now looks better then ever in our showroom, and is sure to grab the attention of our guests. Maybe you’re thinking of a completely new look for your SD too, if so, why not give it a try! Re-painting your SD is a great way to re-discover their beauty and enjoy them to the fullest!
