I am sure that most of you who have DDs, or are interested in DDs, know that unfortunately there is the possibility of staining.

For this reason we sell many different items to help keep your DD as good as new, for as long as possible.

One of these essentials is the Dollfie Head Cap. It protects from staining on the head area caused by dark wig caps.

But how does your doll wear it? This tutorial explains the basic idea behind this key protective item.

Step 1

The first thing you will want to do is to make sure your headcap is on correctly.  It should fit snugly, but not too tightly, and it should rest behind her ears.

Step 2

As you can see here, you will have some loose material at the top of your doll’s head.

Now you can put on your doll’s wig. The best way to do this is to stretch it lightly, and then hold it down against your doll’s head in the front with your thumb. Then you use your other hand to pull it down in the back.

There will most likely be some of the head cap showing from underneath the wig.

Step 4

If your wig is very full, or long,you may not need to hide the headcap the rest of the way. But if the wig you are using is thin, or short. and the headcap is showing, you can hide it.

Gently lift up the wig cap and use your fingertips to push the headcap underneath the wig. Don’t hide too much of it, you don’t want to expose the head to the wig cap. Only push up enough of the headcap so that the edge of it is lined up as perfectly as possible with the edge of the wig cap.

Tada!

There you are! Now you are done!
