Hi everyone!
This week the Showcase is a little late, but I got it done as quickly as I could! We have been very busy with various things here at Volks USA, so I hope you’ll excuse it.
As you can see by the title, this week’s Showcase features SD13G Mimi! This girl is one of our more stylized dolls, with her big eyes, and little nose. She has a quirky smile, and rounded cheeks that add to her charm.
Working with SD13 Mimi, I’ve found that this girl is very versatile. All of our Standard Model SDs are, but I have found this girl to be especially so.
At one point we offered an SD13G version of all of our Standard SD Girls (Megu, Sara, Nana, Kira, Nono, and Mimi.) You can still welcome the other girls using the Full Choice System, but SD13G Mimi is the only one that stuck around as a Standard.
Now that I’ve introduced her I am going to start with what I am sure you all came for, the pictures!

Also as always, an undies view! She looks mature, and has an elegance to her in these pictures. Don’t you think? The wig she is wearing, the W-218D-16T One Side Up Curl-Cream looks really great accented with the flower and the sparkly spray. Whenever I use this wig for displays I always add a small detail like this. One some dolls the line of the wig can be harsh, so adding something like this will soften the effect and give it some interest.
Believe it or not the lingerie she is wearing, LB SD/13G Googly Eyes, really has little googly eyes on the bra! I wasn’t able to get them in these pictures, but they are there on the other side! I think it’s silly and cute. The tights she is wearing, DR SD&13G Socks-OB10 Striped Socks Black&Grey , match the colors of the black with grey trimmed lingerie perfectly!
Time for a change!
This one is a sweet look, almost the opposite of the one before, but she still carries it well! Poor Mimi looks a little lost as she scouts her way, and then sits for a rest. Being an SD clothes model is a hard job I guess.
The cute braided wig she is wearing, W-1036D-6 Pigtail Curl-Dark Brown is unfortunately not available in that color any longer, as it was a Limited wig. We do however have it right now in color 27-Natural Gold. Get it while you can!
The outfit she is wearing comes with the cute little dress, the apron, AND the socks. Isn’t that cool? LPB SDG/SD13G Dress & Apron Set. With it, she is wearing SB-SD-128.
Mimi’s last look, here we go!
This look gives Mimi a spunky little attitude! You don’t want to mess with her. She’s tough, and a little sexy too. The zipper on this outfit goes all the way up to the neck, but I wanted to give her a risque touch, so I didn’t zip it all the way up.
You can see the lighter wig makes her seem brighter, but still goes with her makeup well.
In this last look Mimi is wearing W-122-613 Half-Up Wave-Ivory, VjeanS VS-405, and SB-SD-084.
