Getting Ahead with Yamato and Takeru

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

The instructions that were included with Yamato and Takeru have until now been only available in Japanese. Well, guess what- not only have we translated it, but it has pretty colors too! :D

We be chillin' yo

These instructions detail how to assemble the included heads that only come with the WTG Boyfriends, as well as how to remove and exchange optional hands and feet.

We will include them with all Yamato and Takeru orders, but feel free to ask for a copy if you might need one!

Eden and Amakusa are still available for sale in our showroom, so if you are interested in these lovely boys, please email us.

Ayumi re-designed the main display in our showroom with the ‘Tokyo Boys’ story in mind, since we are all excited about Ami and Ryoya’s upcoming lottery. For this display, Ayumi decided to go with darker colors for a more harder look, do you like it? I especially love the cascading chains. Are we giving you any ideas?

Draping fabrics and adding a bit of flare such as ribbon and flowers can make for an excellent backdrop for taking photos. You should try it sometime at home! And speaking of taking photos, May 3rd is your last chance to take pictures in our showroom’s Photo Space.

After Sunday, the ‘Tea Party’ Photo Space will be taken down and replaced with a new and exciting design. I bet you can’t wait to see it, I know can’t! Let’s find out what the next Photo Space theme will be together next week!  =^_^=

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

Hello, everyone — as those of you who live in southern California can attest, summer is well and truly here in Torrance, and you know that that means: we’ll be changing the photo space soon.   Both the photo space and the main showroom display will be receiving a makeover for the beginning of summer, so please look forward to it!  The new showroom display will be up starting Saturday, May 2, but we’ll keeping the tea-themed photo space a little bit longer.  Your last chance to take pictures in the tea-and-cookies photo space is Sunday, May 3, so come in and snap some photos while you can!

Finally, as those of you who have visited Volks USA recently may know, the air conditioning in the showroom has been malfunctioning for the past few weeks — our sincere apologies and thanks to the guests who came and dealt with the heat.  The Volks USA staff is pleased to announce that the AC has finally been fixed, so our visitors will no longer be greeted with lowered lights and whirring fans — the air in the showroom is cool and pleasant once again, so come on over!

Clara (Yo-SDG Tinatsu), Krishna (Yo-SDB Ayumu), & Indi (MSDB F-09) -- Clara came prepared for heat, but Krishna and Indi were very glad for the fixed AC! Many thanks to R.S. and T.H. for the use of their adorable dolls.
