Langage: English | Japanese

And so Dat two!

There was a long line of people in front of the door even before the event started!
And they sent cheers to the VOLKS staff and I in English.
I am sure you can only see that in the US.

I was really happy.

When I replied, they responded back with even more cheers!
Such display of character vividly showed off how wonderful the American spirit is.

I can still remember it clearly in my mind.

They truly knew how to enjoy shopping,
and I could share in their enjoyment.

Let's start day two of the Dolpa in LA.

The fresh stir of the participants breaks out in the event hall that has been completely changed from yesterday.
This is the day for shopping and welcoming limited SDs and items, and I could see that the excitement rose greatly yet calmly there.

The American owners seemed so happy as they selected their purchases!
They truly knew how to enjoy shopping, and I could share in their enjoyment.

SD Body Maintenance Lesson

The SD Workshop was opened. Today, everyone was seated around the table and learned about SD like school children.

Assembling, disassembling and body maintenance, and the Make-Up lessons were taught by our own SD Make-Up Artists.

Everyone taking lessons studied intently. There were people who took notes, asked some questions, all interested in greater detail and more, and although with regret things drew to an end, everyone seemed to enjoy the workshops.

We had many requests to take pictures together
all over the place.

We had many requests to take pictures together all over the place.

We received a lot of wonderful gifts too. Above all, we were able to witness and ensure the large expansion of the SD world as again another small mark was carved into doll history.

A lot of people lined up to say their wistful goodbyes to us.
Some people even cried with large drops of tears when they were leaving.

“Good-bye” and “Thank you” were repeated many times at the event hall.

One lady came to us and told me that she was leaving on the midnight flight.
She asked me with reddened eyes, “When will I see you again?”

I told her, “Let’s meet at the Tenshi no Sato in Kyoto next time.” She smiled and said, “It’s my dream.”

I watched as she headed down the long, long hallway until I couldn’t see her anymore, pulling her baggage that was nearly as big as herself…

So, what drama will unfold within the SD world next?
I look forward to creating a new SD world with you from my heart.

And so, Dolpa in L.A. was finished.
What wonderful owners.
What fortunate dolls we were able to meet.

Super Dollfie. Surely you will be the ones to pass on the fond memories of this event more so than anyone else.

To all who participated in Dolls Party in Los Angeles, again I would like to thank you for coming.
On behalf of all our staff and all SD fans, I give you my heartfelt thanks.

Consequently, this will result in more developments for the SD world.
