What is the Dolpa Market, Vendor Room?
The Dolpa Market, Vendor Room is the place where a lot of people show, display, and sell their items which are made just for Super Dollfie and Dollfie Dream. It is a place where many new and experienced dress designers and makeup artists gather to showcase their talents.
How beautiful these beloved and wonderfully customized SDs and DDs are, dressed up and displayed with original outfits made just for this day! Each one will surely draw people’s eyes and be branded into the hearts of those that visit them!

Vendor Room Table Rental Fee
- Price to rent a full table (3’x6’) with 2 chairs and 2 vendor passes - $30.00
- 1 Table per Vendor.
- Table position will be randomly decided.
- There will be a limit. Please understand if we receive more applicants than that we will hold a lottery.
- Vendor passes must be applied for ahead of time.
Dolpa in LA 2007 Dolpa Market, Vendor Room Application Period.
- Application Start: September 3rd 2007
- Application End: September 21st 2007
- Confirmation Date: October 6th 2007
Dolpa Market Vendor Room Schedule.
November 25th Dolpa Market, Vendor Room (Plaza Ballroom)
- Vendor Registration Start: 7:30am
- Vendor Open (Set up): 7:30am-9:00am (1.5hr.)
- Dolpa Market Limited Open: 9:00am-1:00pm (4hr.)
- Dolpa Market General Open: 1:00pm-5:00pm (4hr.)
Vendors’ Requirements:
- U.S., Canada, or Mexico Residents
- Must have a valid California Seller’s Permit (minors must have a legal guardian with a seller’s permit who will apply as the representative of a vendor and will take responsibility of you and your items.) You can find the required forms at the California Board of Equalization. ( http://www.boe.ca.gov/ ) It takes approximately two weeks for most people to receive their Sellers Permits.
- We recommend that you apply for a California Seller’s Permit at least one month before Dolpa in LA 2007.
- Do not send Seller’s Permit applications to VOLKS USA.
- If your Seller’s Permit is not presented at the Vendor Registration Counter on Nov. 25th you will not be able to open a booth in the Vendor Room.
- Please read this Dolpa Market Vendor Room Information Page carefully. You must agree with all terms and requirements before you fill out an application form. A link to the Application form is at the bottom of this page.
Important:
- Please note that if we receive too many applicants we will hold a lottery.
- Table position will be chosen randomly
- A Confirmation Email will be sent out to you around October 6th.
- You cannot add, make any changes in the name of vendor representative or companion, or cancel after confirmation.
- Your Vendor Pass will be handed to you at the Vendor Room registration counter on the day of the event. You will need to bring a printout of your confirmation email along with your picture ID (driver’s license, state ID, student ID, etc.) and California Seller’s Permit in order to open a booth in the Vendor Room. Please note that anyone who cannot be identified or does not present a permit will not be able to participate in the Vendor Room.
How to Apply for the Vendor Room.

- You will be asked the following questions when you apply for the Vendor Room:

- This name will be used on the Dolpa in LA 2007 Vendor Information Page.
- Table:
- One table (3’x6’) with 2 chairs and 2 vendor passes - $30.00
- Table position will be randomly decided.

- Name of your Companion:
- Names of your companion who will be using a vendor pass.
- You cannot add, make any changes in the name of vendor representative or companion, or cancel after the confirmation.

- What items you plan to sell.
- You do not have to write down everything you are going to sell. Just give us a rough estimate of what you are bringing so that we know what to expect. This is just to help us screen the items.
- Did you apply for Dolpa in LA 2007?
- This vendor pass is only for participation in the Dolpa Market on Nov. 25th as a vendor. You cannot participate in the other parts of Dolpa in LA 2007, such as the Dinner Party, SD Workshops, purchasing at items sold during Dolpa Market Limited Open, etc., using your vendor pass.
Dolpa Market, Vendor Agreement
- All items sold must be made for or related to Super Dollfie or Dollfie Dream.
- Sales or display of any items that are protected by copyright is prohibited.
- Any sales of copied, or pirated, items are prohibited.
- Any hazardous or dangerous items or items deemed to not be appropriate for minors (such as X-rated items) are also prohibited. Please be aware that regardless of the above conditions if at any time during the event the US Dolpa Committee or VOLKS Staff judges an item to be inappropriate (such as items that do not follow public standards of decency or items that slander or blame a particular person or group) sales of that item will be restricted and the Vendor may be asked to leave the Dolpa Market.
- The US Dolpa Committee and VOLKS Staff will not be responsible for your items being lost or stolen. Please use your best judgment when it comes to leaving your items.
- To a vendor who is going to stay at the Hilton Hotel, please do not sell your items in your room where you will be staying. The US Dolpa Committee and VOLKS Staff will not be responsible.
- Please be courteous to those around you. If a complaint is received about you being rude or unfriendly you will receive a warning. If another complaint is received, you may be asked to remove your items and leave the Vendor Room for the rest of the event.
- Please ensure that your area is not overcrowded. If it is, VOLKS staff will request for it to be dispersed. If there are continued problems with crowd control at your table you may be asked to leave the Vendor Room.
- The US Dolpa Committee and VOLKS Staff reserve the right to make changes at any time during the interval leading up to and during the course of the event.
- Most important of all please enjoy the day!
Miscellaneous Information:
- Full tables (3’ x 6’) will only be rented at Dolpa in LA 2007.
- 2 chairs and 2 vendor passes per one full table (3’x6’).
- You must register everyone who will be using a vendor pass. Please make sure you type down all the names in the application form.

- If you need a special set-up for your table you must inform at least one month in advance.
